About Us

Experienced Greater London funeral directors with personal understanding of the needs of African-Caribbean families

Who we are:

Paul and Sharon are a husband and wife team who understand the needs of families like yours. They found out the hard way.

They lost four close family members in eighteen months. The service they received from the funeral industry at the time when they most needed support ranged from good to very poor. They were so moved by their experiences that they decided they had to do something to make sure the help that families like theirs really need is available to them. They immersed themselves in the details of the trade and realised that service levels could be so much better if the right understanding, planning and management were applied.

Their mission is to take away the confusion and worry associated with arranging a funeral and to allow others to properly experience those final goodbyes with clear heads and full hearts.

The personal touch you need at a time like this:

Having been through it ourselves, we understand the pain and worry associated with arranging a funeral. The daunting day-to-day practicalities, burdensome paperwork and event planning can take away the time you should be able to spend grieving, reflecting and celebrating your loved one.

As if the loss of a cherished family member was not enough you may be trying to cope with overseas funeral arrangements, banking and probate concerns and even understanding just what to do when someone passes away. Our pledge to you at Integrity Funeral Care is to take that great weight from your shoulders. No detail is too small and no problem too large. Everything we do is aimed at giving you the opportunity to breathe and to deal with your loss in the best way for you.

The integrity funeral care difference:

There are many different funeral traditions around the world, each as important as the others to the communities in which they have evolved. For many people of Afro-Caribbean heritage, Nine Night is a vital part of the celebration of a loved one’s life. Services tend to be longer than expected by ministers and priests unfamiliar with our ways. Families tend to gather from all corners of the globe. The music, the food – all those elements are so important to make a funeral a personal commemoration rather than an off-the-shelf ceremony and day.

At Integrity Funeral Care we don’t want you to feel like you have to compromise on any of these things. Catering and venue? We can sort those out. A church with an understanding minister? Those too. Travel arrangements and accommodation for relatives coming from abroad? Leave it to us. Family and friends getting together to commemorate the departed, be it virtually or face-to-face? Not a problem; we can even host your online get together if that makes it easier for you.

We will listen to you, understand you and do everything in our power to help you.
